The Vermont Granite Museum of Barre is a museum dedicated to displaying artifacts and exhibits that explore and celebrate the influence and impact of the granite mining trade on the city and the surrounding region. The museum is actually located within an abandoned turn-of-the-century granite manufacturing plant. It is located just west of Elmwood Cemetery, near the city center.
