The Barre Opera House offers more than 70 varied performances every year, including dance and theatrical shows, making it one of the region's preeminent performing arts venues. The opera house is home to such talented groups as the Vermont Philharmonic, the Barre Players, and is the regional performance space for the nationally recognized Vermont Symphony. The venue is located just south of Montpelier, in the Barre city center.
